Please write one more _handwritten_ thanks to someone. No need to report doing this to me or share to whom or for what. But I'm happy to read it if you do so. ## Assignment ## Responding to Your Comments Responding to [[7650 Assignment 4]]. I know that refusing to accept socioeconomic status labels is not realistic. Well, it is in that it doesn't have to impact me in my day to day work. Even when I was a principal, I didn't need to pay attention to that. This data is only valuable at the high level. And your comment, "Too, if kids are getting info from YouTube and it's what they need, is that a problem?" No, it's not a problem. One of my large complaints about our education system is that if we don't "see it" as educators, then it doesn't count. That's just wrong and not helpful. Learning is a personal endeavor, no matter what. Even in a classroom, the decision and enrollment in learning is personal. ## Brene Brown I have used this video before. It's good. "People believe they are worthy of love and belonging" and that is what makes them feel love and belonging. This was an issue that we had to consistently drive toward in the schools where I was principal.
